You will access your Distribution Statement within the Pathway process. After review, please provide a digital signature and date at the bottom of the document. A written signature is not required.

Settlement Planning

What is settlement planning?

There are financial strategies specifically designed for personal injury plaintiffs, like you, such as periodic payment plans, trusts and methods to comply with the income thresholds of government benefits programs. Milestone’s dedicated team of settlement planning consultants take a holistic approach to gather a complete understanding of your unique needs and goals in order to customize a plan best suited to you.

What are the benefits of settlement planning?

At Milestone, we are all about educating and empowering you to make the best decision for your future. Through no-obligation meetings, our settlement planning consultants will gather a complete understanding of your unique needs and goals in order to customize a tailored plan.

Settlement planning allows you the option to invest, making the most of your settlement and ensuring your settlement lasts for many years or to protect your income-based government benefits.

What are the next steps after electing for settlement planning?

If you elect for settlement planning, your information will be placed into a queue. One of our settlement planning consultants will reach out via email within 3-5 business days from the time of selection to coordinate a time to discuss your specific needs over the phone.

Can I decide to elect a settlement planning option at a later time?

Many settlement planning options require that funds do not go to you before the desired settlement planning option is chosen, so timing is very important. Please be sure to elect for settlement planning before selecting a payment method so your options are still available.
